He has successfully done his post graduation in Anaesthesiology from University of Mumbai. After working for sometime in Mumbai, India, he went abroad to have a different kind of exposure for which he had passion for. To achieve the same he joined Sunnybrook's Hospital in University of Toronto as Clinical fellow for 2 years. After finishing 2 year Clinical fellowship he returned home Mumbai to introduce the latest available treatment for the most BASIC HUMAN complain which is PAIN.

Dr. Jitendra Jain has been in the forefront of Spine and Pain management in India since the time he has come back from Canada. He has been busy academically to train and spread the knowledge of Pain amongst the medical specialty to increase its awareness amongst doctors. He is regularly conducting workshops and conferences to increase the knowledge in the medical fraternity to improve the quality of life for the patients. He regularly conducts patients awareness campaign through hospitals to spread the awareness about the Spine and Pain related problems and how to tackle them.

He has written Pain related articles in various journals and magazines for patients and doctors equally to improve effective control of Pain. Recently he has published a book for doctor on Handbook of Pain Management.

The branch of Algology (Study of pain) is relatively new and is still growing. There are newer findings and latest ideas being suggested everyday to make patients comfortable. What hurts him the most is that Pain being the commonest symptom which brings a patient to Doctor and still in quite a lot of cases it is left untreated. He is contributing to this cause and available at various places.
